The place and people who create it are amazing. From the moment I enetered this magical world of handcraft I just wanted to stay, work and get old there.

Olaria Algarve was established almost 60 years ago by two artists Patrick Swift and Lima da Freitas. The story of how Olaria Algarve came into being is fascinating and so inspiring! Up to this day it is a family owned initiative and I believe a way of life, too.

I couldn’t resist and of course I brought some lovely pieces of pottery home and in a few weeks I’m expecting a delivery of some personalized tiles. How exciting!
